About BurmeseAll Burmese descend from a chocolate colored cat from Southeast Asia named Wong Mau. The Burmese is sometimes described as a “brick wrapped in silk,” this is because of their solid, muscular body and silky coat.
The American Burmese comes in four beautiful colors. The rich dark brown, is called sable; a warm honey-beige called champagne; a medium grey called blue; and a pale dove-grey called platinum. Burmese eyes are always gold regardless of the cat's color. |
Established in 2008Our first Burmese was a platinum female named Isabella and we instantly fell in love with the breed and showed her as a spay. That is what got us hooked on showing and then we decided to begin a breeding program as well. We have bred both Burmese and Bombay over the years and our kittens are raised with dogs and children so they are very well socialized.

Our GoalAt Yash Burmese we strive to breed genetically sound and healthy kittens by using outcross lines and screening our breeding cats for genetic health issues.
